Flex box practice (code) & site
I’m not sure if this is way too complicated, but I was thinking of something like the craigslist apartment site but each successive panel would be a list of hyperlinks pulled from a Wikipedia page. So you would start by typing in or choosing a wiki search term and then it would just list every linked term on the next page. Each of those would become a link that would take you to that page’s list of successive links. So it’s kind of like a faster summary version of a wikipedia rabbit hole. I don’t know javascript! Happy to consider something simpler 😊
Final project thoughts: ok so not fully fleshed out but I’m intrigued by the idea of doing something on a map like the example you showed with the romantic encounters around NYC or something on MapBox. So it could be something from a personal, “quantified self” angle, like geotagged photos of mine or some personal dataset. Or I was thinking of mapping something related to housing (since that’s the industry I work in) but with a cheeky, personalized angle, like testimonials or reviews. But not sure what the dataset could be yet.
